Albert Einstein. Nice Guy. Positive Thinker. It Worked for Him...
Ahh, Albert Einstein.
As a science and nature buff, and life-long admirer of his work, I have wondered what he would have said about the positive change movement, the new earth philosophies, law of attraction and even brain plasticity. See more at Brain Exercises
In all the readings I have done on Einstein, and the way in which he used imagination for the creation of his theories, my best guess is that he would say " Yes, I concur, but it’s no secret. It’s only natural."The following quote attributed to him, takes us in that direction: “ When I examine myself and my methods of thought, I come to the conclusion that the gift of fantasy has meant more to me than my talent for absorbing positive knowledge.” From some of the biographical info I have collected about him, it is a fair assumption that he would have something to say about the law of attraction and its popularity in our time. Part of why I believe this are his numerous contributions to physics, such as: - predicting gravity’s deflection of light - the initial fluctuation dissipation theorem which explained the Brownian movement of molecules - photon theory - theories of relativity - founding relativistic cosmology - the initial post-Newtonian expansion - explaining Mercury’s perihelion advance - wave-particle duality - the quantum theory of atomic motion in solids - the zero-point energy concept - his own version of the Schrödinger equation - the quantum theory of a monatomic gas and of course… Albert Einstein is best known for his ground breaking theory of relativity. Creating positive change via law of attraction, brain plasticity and cognitive behavioral therapy, are all about applying our thought processes. Einstein was an avid user of the thought experiment. This is where the researcher proposes an experiment that would test or shed light on a theory or hypothesis. They do not actually perform the experiment. Yes, that’s right ladies, lots of scientific discoveries start out that way. Sound familiar? This is used when it may not be possible to actually perform the experiment. In some cases, even when it is possible, there may be no intention of any kind to actually perform the experiment! A thought experiment is meant to explore the potential effects or consequences of a theory. Also see article on Realistic Optimism Albert Einstein had no problem attracting a relationship. (OK. We're having some fun here.) Some of what I found around Albert Einstein and his relationships with women was fascinating to say the least. My research uncovered the following (let me know if any of these are proven incorrect): 1902: Einstein and Mileva have a daughter (Lieserl) They marry in January 1903 They had 2 sons, Hans Albert, and Eduard 1914: Einstein moves to Berlin, while Mileva stays in Zurich with the boys. Hmmm… Mileva and Einstein divorce in 1919. Five years apart will do that to a marriage. Einstein marries Elsa Löwenthal (née Einstein) in 1919. Their relationship started in 1912. Elsa was his first cousin (mom’s side) and his second cousin on his father’s side. paternally. (?!?) 1933: they emigrated the US. 1936, Elsa Einstein dies of heart and kidney problems. In true law of attraction, focus on the positive style, Albert Einstein is quoted as having said, “ In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.” So true. So healthy thinking.
