Amazing Law of Attraction Story - Helping Refugees in Malaysia!

At the end of 2008, a colleague of mine gave me a book called "The Secret" and told me to read it carefully. That was the start of my interest in the Law of Attraction. Since then I have read other books on the same subject but by different authors. They all point to the same principle that thoughts attract things. I had put this into practice for the last two years and I realise that it is very true that it really works.
In the beginning, I would focus on simple things like getting a parking space in a busy area. I would just put my thoughts into words and say that I was going to find a spacious parking lot where I was going and when I arrived at my destination, the parking lot was as I imagined it, waiting for me.
In December 2009, I made a vision board of the things that I wanted, like an apartment near the beach with a seaview, a well equipped home besides other things and I attracted exactly what I projected in my mind.
The Law of Attraction also said that we should not think negative things or we will attract these too. Though I tried hard to focus on positive things, worries sometimes creep in too and this must have played havoc with my projections!
Recently, I was going through a very difficult financial period and 3 months passed without anything happening at all though I was focussing 24/7 on attracting the finances I need. Nothing seemed to be working. It arrived at the stage that I was beginning to panic that I wouldn't have the money to pay for the house, the car, my son's college education and that I might not even have a place to live in next month.
Then amazingly everything started happening all at once. New students appeared from nowhere (by the way, I am a private English Language instructor), people called wanting to rent one of the rooms in my apartment, other job opportunities opened up... I was overwhelmed. Here I was facing an uncertain future and the next thing I knew the money was coming in faster than I could say "Hallelujah".
The next thing on my Law of Attraction agenda is to attract like minded people in helping marginalized people to face an uncertain future with dignity. This is the other work I do besides teaching English.
What I wish to say to others is that don't give up on the Law of Attraction because it has its own timing for things to manifest. It will never let you down because if you believe, you will receive.
