Another CoInciDance? You Couldn't Make it up if You Tried

The coinciDance

Just when you think you’ve heard it all, this phenomenon gives you a whirl. There are no coincidences. Law of attraction stories, the real ones, are an inspiring source of hope for real people, worldwide... a helpful resource in the positive change movement. This morning, after answering someone’s plea for help on a forum, I received the following answer:

Gisele - you're living proof of the laws of positive attraction!

I was wishing I could talk to my mother and hear her tell me pretty much what you just wrote (not necessarily about this issue, but other things). She died a year ago. So I told myself what I know she would have said and got myself to a positive, grateful place. And then I log on to the forums and find your post telling me exactly what she would have said. Her name was Gisele. So thank you SO much for your post! May you have all goodness and joy and much success!

Now, what are the chances that this total stranger, living on another continent, received help from me, and that her mother, who, even in death, is her inspiration, as mine is , has the same first name as I do?

CoinciDance or Chaos Theory? Pessimists and other negative thinkers sometimes say that there are no serendipitous events, and that seemingly coincidental events are just part of the chaos that is the nature of the universe. Well, I beg to differ. Serious researchers, professionals from several fields, are studying the incidence and meaning of coincidences, with fascinating results. (2) I am of the same mind as Robert Moss, the best selling writer and scholar, in that coincidences are signposts helping us to make decisions in certain directions, or giving us hope, comfort and support. I see the coinciDance phenomenon as helping us feel an important sense of connection. Carl Jung’s writing supports this idea.
