Tired women with no time to socialize are dealing with loneliness
and so are recently widowed or divorced women, as well the many who are isolated due to health problems. Among the myriad of research topics women struggling with loneliness are looking into, are realistic law of attraction techniques. Feeling the need for more human interaction
is one of the main reasons people venture into the self help area looking for answers. First some dealing with loneliness basics:• Loneliness is complicated • There are many strategies which can help • Loneliness could be a sign or a causative factor in depression Dealing With Loneliness Questions for Self Reflection. From the above 5 questions, you have a clearer picture of how you may proceed with dealing with loneliness. The following are some ideas for you to explore. Make sure you include # 7 in your plan. 1. Occupying yourself with activities to distract away from the loneliness. Include simple positive meditation on a daily basis. This idea is in sync with healthy law of attraction strategy.(1) 2. Focus on what is causing the loneliness, to seek a solution. Can you change it? Can you replace it? Will it eventually heal? Will talking to someone help? 3. Listening to uplifting music or watching inspiring movies. 4. Using active strategies: exercise, hobby time, etc. Not only will you take your mind off your negative feelings, you will also feel satisfied from having completed a task. 5. Stay focused on finding your way out of loneliness. Those who give up, and maintain long periods of loneliness risk depression. 6. Avoid the use of sadness-generating coping strategies: extra sleep, crying, over eating, drinking alcohol (which is a depressant), watching excessive amounts of TV, or sadness-inducing programs. 7. See your primary health care provider for an assessment of your mental status, including low self-esteem, signs of depression, etc. 8. Look for the best self help books – those written by licensed professionals in health care, social services and experts in the field of helping. 9. If you decide to seek counseling, look for a professional with verifiable references and excellent credentials. 10. Avoid making major financial or life changing decisions when you are in a state of deep sadness, loneliness or possible depression.
