When such is the case, it is one of the most powerful thoughts we carry with us through life. Without the love and teachings of my very special mother, Yvonne, I would not be where I am today. 
A Mother's Voice. Many women have told me that they literally hear their mother's voice in their heads, whether she is still of this earth or not. Some of these stories are good for your daily smile. Such as my daughters who tell me they still hear me saying Don't stand in doorways! Which, for some reason, children love to do. Now, in fact, my oldest daughter tells me she caught herself saying this to her stepdaughter, and had a laugh over it.My Mother's words, I share with you, in her favorite colour, orange, below: she lived by this philosophy, and so do I, even in the most difficult of times. A series of events presented themselves in my life around the time of her death on September 26, 2006. These events led me to the writing of Attract It. Beyond Positive Thinking. I finished the book after her death, and I know she stayed with me as I wrote. Faith. Confidence. Knowing. Like many women of her generation, Yvonne lived a life of faith… and what is now widely recognized as law of attraction healthy thinking strategy. She loved words of wisdom as a means to quickly get centered. We had many a chuckle over some of the more humorous ones. For her, the glass was always half full, until the day she died in her sleep, as she intended, at the age of 94. Against all odds… adversity, war, poverty, illness, widowhood, the death of her beloved firstborn son, and most of her eleven siblings, as well as the isolation of total blindness, Yvonne smiled, kept up a chipper outlook, and even in her final days, reminded us all that… For goodness sakes, there is always something to look forward to.
