Give me Some Law of Attraction and Pregnancy Tips. Please

Looking law of attraction and pregnancy

law-of-attraction-and-pregnancy discussion and ideas? More and more healthy positive thinking moms are doing the same. Some years ago, as a public health nurse teaching prenatal classes, I was struck by the enjoyment and relief my students got from the breathing – relaxation part of my classes. Most of the moms were in their second and third terms, and were there with the dads (who were often amazingly gung-ho!).

After teaching the same class content for some time, with me speaking the relaxation and breathing instructions over and over, I decided to create a recording of that part of the class, and that little cassette was copied and used by other public health nurses for years afterwards. One of the key benefits of all this guided relaxation and breathing was an obvious relief of stress, and lifting of self confidence in the moms’ own abilities to be able to handle the discomfort, and yes, the pain of labour. Italics intentional - I think being realistic about this truth is best:).

With today’s millions of women integrating law of attraction concepts, the secret dvd, positive thinking in pregnancy, and a myriad of healthy thinking concepts, one would be naïve to think pregnant women are not applying law of attraction and pregnancy concepts. In fact, this trend is a wonderful opportunity for nurse practitioners, nurses, midwives and physicians to explore these questions with the mom, and discuss possible techniques to use at the time of birthing and before.

Basic law of attraction and pregnancy Meditation

1. Wear loose comfy clothing. You will need a timer, dark cloth or eye mask to cover your eyes and ear plugs or head phones. Empty your bladder to avoid having to pee in the middle of your meditation. Go to an area of your home where you can be alone, door closed, for a minimum of ten minutes. If the only place you can think of is that messy bedroom you haven't organized yet, great! Bring a blanket and pillow and don't worry about the dusty boxes. You just need a corner big enough for you.

2. Get comfy. Sitting, lying on your side - whatever works at this point. Put on your ear plugs or head phones. Cover your eyes.

3. Through the ten minutes or more, as long as you wish, you will breathe just a little deeper, slower, longer than usual, at least every three breaths. Relax about using any so-called perfect breathing techniques. There is no such thing.

4. Now for the entire time, simply breathe, and think about best possible scenarios for today, this week, this month, the labor, childbirth, whatever comes to mind. Whatever thought comes to mind, just stay focused on pregnancy and use the law of attraction skill of staying focused on what it is that you DO want.

5. At the end of the law of attraction and pregnancy meditation, take 3 deep breaths, stretch, and say to yourself out loud, I am one amazing woman! Baby, you are one fortunate little angel! Enjoy!
