Charmaine and her family opened The Tree of Life North less than 3 years ago, and have become a model for small business based on new earth ideas. Through the usual trials and tribulations of business start-up and The Recession, they have continued to apply healthy positive thinking, and succeeded!

Many professional women from the helping fields – social work, nursing, medicine, teaching, are looking into opening small businesses to offer specialized services rooted in what they love. If you know anything about positive thinking and basic business theory, you know that loving what you do is a core concept in attracting what you truly want from your work – and more of it as time goes on.

Charmaine is active in the community, with roles including leadership of women's groups and many more, sometimes quietly behind the scenes, sometimes front and center.

Charmaine and her very special sister, Joanne Stamp, are the leaders of the spirit at this new age store with the old fashioned values. That is their motto, with Joanne and Charmaine being totally in sync with this philosophy and most importantly, the clients who come to them daily - seeking, learning and experiencing. The Tree of Life North is a model of new earth philosophy in action, and is helping many people while contributing to the business base of the Sudbury area.
