Meditation Techniques for Women
Law Of Attraction Skills

for Aha Moments

law-of-attraction-meditation

What meditation techniques are you using daily, and do you know how to get the most out of them? Are you finding some of the recorded guided meditation you bought not so effective? There is a reason for that. In my experience, for women, one of the main reasons is that (subconsciously perhaps?), the male voice is not as effective. For some, previous or current negative experiences are creating difficulty in trying to relax with the male voice speaking to them in such an intimate manner. Clients tell me the calming effect of a skilled female meditation guide's voice , or guided imagery, is highly effective. They also tell me, and I have personally experienced this many times, that Aha Moments often come during or after meditation.

Using relaxation breathing, or other short, quiet time simple meditation techniques on a regular basis, on your own, will help you in finding solutions to your specific problems. See my simple relaxation techniques page as well.

Your nurse practitioner, physician or massage therapist, and many other complementary health providers can help you with some simple meditation techniques to get you started. Many are also well-versed in the law of attraction and positive thinking strategies of all types. You would be surprised!

Try some of these today.

5 Minute Stress Reduction for Women

Sit or lie down in any spot you like, in your home, in the park, at the library – anywhere you feel good, alone. Ensure no one will disturb you: lock your door, put a sign on it... whatever works. You should take this type of stress reduction break at least once a day. You deserve it, and you need to put your needs first.

Use a sleep mask or folded towel to cover your eyes if you can, as well as ear plugs or sound proof head phones.

Spend 5 minutes quietly breathing, and daydreaming about pleasant thoughts. If you are having difficulty getting stared, imagine you have no one to be responsible for today, and no one's needs to meet other than your own. No one is making any demands on you. Imagine it. Picture it. Imagine the relaxing, freeing feeling...

If a stressful thought enters your mind, just ‘notice it, and let it go’ as you bring in a pleasant wonderful relaxing thought. End with a nice stretch and a full crinkly-eyed smile. ___________________________________________________________

Or Try This One: You can even use this meditation technique in the bathroom at work, and come back refreshed and relaxed. A great, free, workplace wellness idea!

Just a Minute Meditation

You need a kitchen timer or cell phone with a timer.

1. Go to a spot where you can be alone.

2. Sit or lie down with the timer near you.

3. Set the timer for exactly one minute.

4. Get your neck, legs and arms into a relaxed position.

5. Start the timer & Close your eyes.

6. Allow yourself to breathe moderately deeply, evenly, belly rising slightly on inhale.

Thought Focus. Initially. think of your breath as you inhale and exhale…how good it feels…how amazing it is…how refreshing it is…how grateful you are to be able to breathe freely, using your incredible respiratory system.

As you become better and better at this meditation technique, or relaxation breathing, your thought focus will be on simply – your breath. Each breath in. Each breath out.

7. When the alarm sounds, slowly open your eyes, stretch, and smile a wide smile with your eyes ‘crinkling’, visualizing one of your most relaxing thoughts – the beach on Margarita Island, the dock at the lake, you sitting in your favorite comfy chair at home, the feeling of getting a massage, watching your favorite positive tv show…etc.

Enjoy!
