Enjoy Parenting More with Law of Attraction Skills!
Well sisters, have I got a secret for you. Motherhood gets easier and a whole lot more fun, with effective law of attraction concepts.
This is nothing new. However the trick is this. Positive thinking alone does not cut it when you are raising kids.
Whether you are facing
childbirth,breastfeeding,
or raising teenagers, these concepts are gold. First let me share a bit about my Mom - a real master at this...
Motherhood was my Mom's calling. I got most of my
parenting inspiration
from her. She spent her single years as a nanny for a wealthy family. Those children loved her, visiting her well into her old age. Mom taught me that when faced with challenges,
You put your thinking cap on, because there is always something you can do.
Parallel Action This is classic law of attraction strategy. However... she didn't just sit around and visualize, waiting for the solution to a problem to show up a her door.
Many women and families would have fallen apart, faced with some of our challenges. At one point, in the early 1960’s, before the days of workmen‘s compensation, my Dad was in a back brace recuperating in a Stryker frame in a Toronto veteran's hospital, after a second spinal fusion. Mom had no intention of letting this setback bring us down. Her motherhood plan was of a different sort indeed. She sprang into action - step 2 of the Attract It 2-Step strategy for law of attraction. After all, she had three children under the age of 10 to look after! She got behind the wheel of the little navy blue Volkswagen™ (my Dad was a VW™ fan - we had 9 bugs in a row) and went door to door selling Watkins™ products while my Dad learned new skills.
Bring Your Kids to Work. Women in our rural area did not have jobs, and we sure could not afford a babysitter. We went with her, three little kids on an adventure, toodling down the country and village roads of our neighbourhood. She made it fun. I can still hear her grinding the standard transmission on the Beetle. And, oh – a driver’s license? For goodness sakes, she did not need one of those! By the way, she was no twenty-something mom. Single until the age of 41, she did not start her motherhood experience until her mid-forties. After one miscarriage, she gave birth to 3 healthy children, at 42, 44 and 46. She almost died giving birth the last time, and I'll tell you that amazing story later.
What gave her the drive, the ambition, the energy? A super charged deep-seated positive thinking - speaking - action philosophy. And I am forever grateful that she passed it on to me.
