She is not of this earth today, though she is with me without fail every moment of my journey here. All the best to you and other Moms today and all the days of the year. I share with you my quote for the day, whispered to me as I awoke in gratefulness this glorious morning: The greatest gift of all is the love of a good mother. Not every woman who gives birth is ready or able to be a good mother. The reasons and causes are many and we know them well. However, no Mother, even one who fails at mothering, comes into this world with the intent to make mistakes with her children. For the vast majority of us, we come into this world with the grace of being nurtured by a good mother. And what a gift it is. To know one is loved unconditionally, to bask in the knowledge that we always have a soft place to fall, and to live in the awareness that our own mistakes will always be forgiven… these are some of the wonders of this Gift. The black and white photo here is my Mother, circa 1940-something. She taught me the most important things in life, some which I temporarily forgot at various times of my life, as we all will, being only human. She lived a life grounded in positive thinking, attracting true love 
and respect from her children, family and friends. The secret to her success, even when times were tough? The inspirational saying she left me with, No matter what, there is always something to look forward to.
