Positive Psychology, Law Of Attraction and Healthy Positive Thinking
Many mental health professionals incorporate techniques of positive psychology, such as re-framing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Sedona Method realistic and law of attraction skills such as pivoting, into their practices.
What to expect? There is no positive thinking secret: good professional counseling will assist the woman to focus on what she does want, as opposed to fixating on whatever depressing trigger events she sees as the reason for her current problems, aka cbt, or pivoting.(1)
Let's take, for example, Self Esteem help. Virtually an epidemic for woman, self esteem issues are examples of such a trigger. World wide research is now concluding that realistic positive thinking techniques , easily shown to incorporate many of the same principles as those in law of attraction theory, as part of standard health counseling like CBT, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, are effective.
Controversy exists around current, popular representation of thinking skills previously taught and used by a select few in the positive psychology field. This concern is well founded, and in fact, there are specific mental skills or strengths you must use, and changes you must make, to create a better life for yourself. A well-known psychiatrist caring for one of my clients counsels the client in exactly that way, and I know for a fact that this psychiatrist is exploring current writings on the law of attraction.

Professional health care providers may not be using law of attraction terminology, but the most successful among them all enable women to move in a more positive direction, attracting better and healthier outcomes by improving or changing the way we think. It is simply common sense.
