Quantum Physics - Law of Attraction What's Wrong With This Picture?
Follow the Quantum Physics debate and make up your own mind.
The Secret version: Just think about what you want, believe you will get it, and it will magically appear.
Anti-positive-thinking version: There is no such thing as vibration emanating from us or from our thoughts in any way, and quantum physics has absolutely nothing to do with co-creating our reality.
The evidence based version millions of women, scientifically educated and otherwise, know is effective: Thoughts are things. Many scientists, dead and alive, concur on this phenomenon. Quantum field theorists know that nothing is truly solid. Rather, everything is energy. Atoms are not solid at all. Particles, even smaller than atoms, are not solid either. In fact, deep underground in Sudbury, Canada, experts study these infinitesimally small bodies. A mile deep in the earth, the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory, the SNO Lab, is the world leader in the field. No, they are not studying the effect of thought on creation or the law of attraction.
However, as doctors Dyer, Chopra, and many others so clearly stated, thoughts are energy, and thoughts do contribute to the co-creation of our reality. They theorize, and report some experimentation showing that when we observe these sub-atomic particles, we somehow cause them to present in our field of observation. They state that these tiny particles seem to appear when we give them attention. It seems that when no one is peering though the powerful electron microscopes, the little blips, or neutrinos, seem to be present elsewhere, or 'not in our field of observation'. Thinking about them, observing, and paying attention to them, they theorize, seems to create them.
What about Quantum Physics
evidence? Evidence is now strongly pointing in the direction that deliberately focusing our attention on something (thinking) helps create it, as a natural law. Evidence also shows that though thoughts may create things, we do not fully understand this phenomenon, and are not able to constantly manifest exactly and everything we want to. We must also make decisions, think, speak and act in alignment with those decisions, and develop a knowing confidence in the outcome, to create sustainable positive change.
What about the Vibrations issue? Thoughts are things, according to many great minds working in the field of quantum physics and positive psychology. Taking it to the next step, we know that feelings are actually powerful thoughts, or vibrations, that are measurable, using scientific imaging equipment, such as MRI. The actual microscopic appearance may be wave like or a straight line... it really does not matter. What matters is that your feelings are actually vibrations you are emitting, or giving off. Thoughts are vibrations of energy. Everything is energy. That is what Einstein was trying to tell us with this equation:
E = MC² (Energy = Mass x Speed of Light in a Vacuum)
Vibrations are all around us. They are in us. They affect everything we do. They are everything we do. Much of the material written about quantum physics includes the term vibrations either instead of, or interchangeably with the word feelings. Many scientific studies and biofeedback systems have proven, and provided scientific evidence that we do in fact give off vibrations, continuously. Studies show irrefutably that the vibrations we emit from our brain activity changes as we think different thoughts.
How Does This Help Me Attract What I Want
Ever since women began exploring the laws of nature, we looked for ways to use these facts of life in order to better our lives, and those of our loved ones. Making and inventing, improvising, creating new things, simplifying and improving our lives, our homes, our existence, is part of our nature. The practice of calm, focused pleasant thought or focus on a desired outcome, as meditation for example, does help us stay grounded, and moving in a direction that is positive for us, towards our goals. How quantum physics is actually at work during a healthy thinking exercise like positive relaxation is still being studied. Does it really matter? Keep your eye on the prize. A woman who stays focused on what she wants and deserves, if it is possible on this planet, in this lifetime, is infinitely more likely to achieve that goal than the one who does not. That is law.
The debate will rage as long as humans exist. The debate is good, and helps us learn more about our amazing brain.(1) Quantum physics may not be the easiest way to explain the miracle of how our thoughts really do contribute to our reality, and the answer may lie in the positive psychology or cognitive behavioral therapy field.
