Sedona Method and Universal Laws of Attraction
When I first came across the Sedona Method
via Hale Dwoskin in The Secret, I had never heard of him or this powerful respected mental wellness strategy. Universal Laws of Attraction Many people are trying to achieve happiness without letting go of emotional issues, or baggage. It is well known, and some consider it one of the
universal laws of attraction,
that It Is Not Possible. From that long ago relationship that hurt you, to the guilt you still feel over shoplifting a lipstick at fourteen. From the abuse you suffered as a child, to the ghosts keeping you addicted to whatever. Professionals in the helping fields, from doctors and psychologists, to famous authors such as John Gray who wrote about men being from Mars and women being from Venus are saying this. One needs to go
beyond positive thinking,
and even
beyond meditation,
and let go. Without knowing how, it is not easy. And so, countless solid, sane people and professionals are recommending the practice of this simple mental healthy thinking skill. Now I know why. The Technique. I do a lot of research into the modern, positive psychology, popular strategies at the core of law of attraction theory, and all the possible linkages which can help people with real issues, now. Intrigued by the concept, I checked out Hale Dwoskin’s technique, by ordering a free cd. It is based on a mental skill stumbled upon by a man who was told he had terminal cardiac disease. He surprised everyone, and himself, by changing the way he was thinking, letting go of painful, negative, unhealthy repetitive thoughts and memories, and became healthy again, living many years, and developing the Sedona Method. The rest is history. In a nutshell, you learn to focus on the issue playing like a bad movie in your head, then ask yourself these 3 questions: • Could I let this feeling go? • Could I allow this feeling to be here? • Could I welcome this feeling? Then, you ask yourself this simple question: Would I? or, Am I willing to let go? If you find yourself answering no, or if you are not sure, you then ask yourself: Would I rather have this feeling, or would I rather be free? Next, even if the answer is still no, you move on to the next question: When? AutoSuggestion. What you are doing is using a powerful inner suggestion, an invitation to just let it go NOW.
