Overwhelmed With Stress Reduction Techniques
that don't work?

You’re not the only one! Why is this happening? Here are a few reasons:

1. Stress reduction :

2. Yoga, meditation, and other relaxation techniques will only work if we understand and know how to “ go within ” … classic law of attraction strategy.

3. Women often feel more at ease with stress reduction techniques that are geared to women, and with classes where only women are learning together.

4. Women tend to drop and crash when we have a moment to finally relax. We take to the couch for hours of TV or sleep. Not that this is bad … however, those are not strategies for ongoing stress management. They are not a relaxation response.

A woman’s relaxation response is a natural and powerful stress buster. You can learn to boost your stress management potential with any technique you decide to use, by combining law of attraction concepts. This will work with breathing strategies, visualization, yoga, positive relaxation, meditation, and even exercise based stress relief methods.

In a woman’s world, relaxation response works like this:

1. Your mind is active, thinking of pleasant thoughts ( no thoughts of any thing on your to-do list here, please ), with the strategy you chose leaving your body relaxed.

2. You need to remain awake. (Forgive yourself if you are so exhausted you fall asleep instead, especially at first.)

3. You get better at it, the more you practice. Your natural female hormones, will contribute to this.

4. It is deeply restful, as opposed to the stress response. It is common, once women learn a stress reduction technique that works for her, to prefer it to a nap!

In fact, practice daily, and see your daily stress levels drop, and feelings of serenity grow. How does that sound?

Once you learn some law of attraction tips to stay calm even in times of trouble … everything changes … We will start with a few simple stress reduction tips. More will be added as our site develops. You may want to learn about guided imagery at this time as well. First some FAQ’s

1. Can I avoid stress? No. Women and men need it, especially in emergencies. It has a positive purpose. Remember the time you thought your baby or your elderly mom was choking on something? Your mind went into adrenalin mode, and you sprang into action. If you are constantly, unknowingly in emergency mode, you will feel the negative effects. Women sometimes go through long periods of life, living in this fight or flight mode, day after day !

2. Can I learn to counter the negative effects of stress? Yes. Better than you can imagine. Imagining is the key. Is a child stressed when they are using their imagination? Follow me.

Start Slow, Girl. LOA 10 Minute Stress Reduction

Let’s start with one law of attraction based idea, and build from there.

First, Decide that you will devote 10 minutes a day to practicing stress reduction techniques. Write it down on a card. It might look like this ( An A-Statement ):

“I am now beginning to take 10 minutes every day for me. I deserve it. I can find time to do it. I am enjoying it. Everyday, this is helping me be healthier and happier.”

Whether it is first thing in the morning, at lunch time, evening, bedtime – it doesn’t matter.

Throughout the day, picture yourself, during your 10 Minute stress busting time. Visualize yourself relaxed, enjoying it, and getting happier.

Pick your spot – bedroom? Den? Garden? If your household is crazy-buy, lock yourself in the bathroom with a comfy blanket for the floor, a small dark cloth or towel to cover your eyes and some earplugs or sound blocking ear phones.

Now Just Do It. For 10 minutes, simply DAYDREAM. Eyes closed, breathing deeply, comfortably, belly rising, fully emptying your lungs when breathing out. Think pleasant thoughts.

When a stressful thought arrives, just notice it, move past it in your mind, and replace it with a colour you love, an image of a place you want to travel to, anything that makes you smile inside … or for real.

That’s it. You are on your way. Practice this for 30 days. That's how long it takes to develop a new habit. Enjoy!
