Oprah, the Universal Laws of Attraction and a Long Lost Sister

(a) Patricia’s son Andre’s call telling her to watch the TV to see Oprah Winfrey’s Mom being interviewed.

(b) Vernita Lee reveals details about her two other children who died as young adults, one also named Patricia, and a son, Jeffrey – Oprah’s half siblings.

(c) The interview reveals several pieces of information matching Patricia’s birth documents.

(d) Andre reads Oprah’s Official Biography online, revealing info confirming that Oprah’s year of birth was the same as Patricia’s long lost sister.

(e) Patrica’s birth mother, Vernita Lee lived in the same city as she did, all her life.

(f) Patricia, the long lost sister and Patricia, the deceased sister have a strong and uncanny resemblance.

(g) Patricia was very hurt by the initial rejections of her attempt to connect with her birth Mother, and decided, “I just had to let it go.” (1)

(h) Once Patricia realized it was true – Oprah was her sister, she prayed that “nothing would get out”, not wanting to hurt her older sister.

(i) By letter and emails, Patricia and Oprah make contact, and the rest is long lost sister history. See the video series on Oprah.com below. (2)

Universal Laws of Attraction Take us to a Point. the rest is up to us. Patricia tried three times to make contact with her birth Mother, to no avail. As is common in adopted children seeking birth families, the reunion is often a challenge, not due to any desire for harm by the parent being sought, but probably due to the maelstrom of emotions, thoughts, shame and fears still present. It is up to the individuals involved to make the decisions and take the actions required to complete the journey triggered by:

1. the repeated thought pattern of our desired outcome,

3. and followed up with the words and actions in sync with our desire.

….universal law of attraction, prayer, healthy positive thinking with faith and planning, a never give up attitude towards a goal which presents no harm to no person…. All these are at play here. All these are connected, whether you ‘believe’ or not.
